Jansen is 8 Months Old!

Only 4 months away from a year old! Where has the time gone?! 

I can't look at this picture without laughing...no joke this is the best picture I got out of all the ones I took. He just wasn't having it. And as you can tell in the picture, his 8 month sticker was being destroyed so there were not going to be any "retakes".

JT at 8 Months:

-is NEVER still! This boy is extremely active and does everything possible to keep up with his sister

-is pulling up on anything and everything

-could really benefit from wearing a helmet...he's too brave for his own good and has had his fair share of falls 

-FINALLY sleeps through the night! He goes down around 7:00 and sleeps until 6:00 AM. For a couple of weeks he was was waking up every morning at 5 AM. Two of his top teeth were working their way through the gums so I'm thinking that's why.

-Almost has 4 teeth. Two of the top teeth have broken through but aren't completely out yet.

-Has eaten non-pureed foods like blueberries, peas, avocados, bananas, and biscuits

-ate cheerios for the first time and loved them

-really wants to walk. 

-has started reaching out for you when he wants you to hold him. 

-climbs all over Sawyer when I've got her on the floor and changing her.

-thinks it's funny when Sawyer is crying (it's already begun)

-loves patty cake and peek-a-boo

-is just shy of 22 lbs.

Partners in crime...and diapers.

Sawyer thought it was hilarious to put washcloths on their heads.

Finally got Jansen's room finished (for the most part)

This boy makes a mad dash to the bathtub every chance he gets so he can turn on the water.

Check out the knot and bruises on both sides of his forehead. Hotshot is fearless!
